Laser Cutting - Reverse Applique

So using the software I created a pattern using the flowers so only their outline was left over. Really liked the idea of using the negative of the laser cut. This could then be developed into fabric to create 2 or more layers of reverse applique. Also depending on the pattern and design this could be used as a sustainable method as the shapes cut out could be used for applique and embellishments and then the negatives as reverse applique, meaning this textile design has a rate of 0% waste.
